The Whomples

Tucked away beneath the leaves, a tiny world quietly comes to life - where curious little creatures wander, adventures unfold, and a touch of magic can be found in the smallest places.

The Whomples are a collection of curious little woodland creatures, each with their own adventures, mishaps and stories to tell.

At the heart of the woodland are Pudge the Frog and Button the Mushroom, two unlikely friends who spend their days exploring the world around them.

And while the woodland may seem quiet to us, there’s always something happening amongst the Whomples...

Ideas & Inspiration

I’ve always liked to believe there’s a little more magic in the world than meets the eye. The Whomples were first inspired by the Tinker Bell films. The idea that nature might be carrying on in ways we never get to see, and the world looks quite different when you imagine it from a little closer to the ground.

Made for the dreamers, the curious and anyone who enjoys a little silliness alongside their magic, The Whomples are my way of bringing a little of that feeling to life.

Hi, it's nice to meet you!

I’m Charmaigne, an artist based in the UK, and the person behind Smallworks Studios - The Whomples :)

To put it simply, I love to draw! I digitally illustrate every piece myself, from the first sketch to the finished artwork, before having them professionally printed as fine art prints.

This is just me doing what I love, one silly drawing at a time.
I hope you find a little bit of yourself in the characters and love them as much as I do!
